Wanted, a song from the album reached the Top 40 singles chart. Decker was always a Country performer, but the album was made and promoted it was designed with the attention of pop fans in mind. Her music came under increased scrutinization following the release of two singles. The next song, Boys in the Summer was a country-inspired track. Decker released her second album under two different titles: Sweet American Dreams or Daughter of a Gypsy. Mercury decided to put it back on the shelf when the first three singles did poorly in the charts for country music. Decker then was let be released from her contract.
