Emily Irene VanCamp (Canadian actress) is best known for her lead roles in many television series but also her impressive performances in films. The popularity of her is shared by the world of Canadian as well as American television. Emily first became interested when she watched her sibling Katie performing in a film. Emily began attending classes in acting, and then auditioning when she realized that she was passionate about acting. The first time she was cast, she appeared in commercials, but she was not cast until getting a part on the Canadian kids' horror TV show Are You Are You Scared of Darkness? There was just one scene in which she did not talk. Her first major break at 15, when she got a role as a regular character on Glory Days, a WB show Glory Days. Emily's appearance on the show by WB Glory Days which ended up being cancelled nine episodes later, caught the attention and casting of Greg Berlanti from Dawson's Creek. Additionally, a dancer and photographer, Emily was featured as a Teen in their list of best actors under 20. Emily was listed as at number 51 on the Maxim's Hot 100 list of 2014.
